Kingsley Academy is proud to announce another year of pleasing A Level results, maintaining the significant improvement we saw achieved by students (and staff) last year. The overall pass rate was 98%. We are delighted that 70% of results were at C or above and nearly 1 in 5 results was an A or A*.  Students attained these top grades (A*/A) in a range of different subjects including English, maths, chemistry, biology, Spanish, art, geography, citizenship and business studies.

15% of students have secured Russell Group university places to read subjects as varied as Pharmacy, Chemistry, Neuroscience, Biology, Biomedical engineering, Physics and Computer Science, with many in the enviable position of being able to select from a range of offers. These included Ali M who finally plumped for Durham to read Pharmacy, Manish who chose King's College to study computer science. Other successful students include Milahat and Jasleen, each of whom received unconditional offers and chose to read biology at St Mary’s, London, and Law at St. Mary’s respectively. Jasleen said “My time at Kingsley Academy has been enjoyable, difficult, challenging and stressful, but with the best support available and guidance I have been able to achieve my grades and aspirations. I am extremely excited about starting university.”

Our Head girl and Head boy, Raveena and Kane, were happy to continue studies in Law and Biology at university. Raveena said: “The support and guidance was excellent from the sixth form team. The teachers were very committed and focussed in our success and achievement. I am extremely happy I got my first choice in University and I am glad to begin my journey and career in Law.” Kane said: “A-levels were very interesting and fun  to complete. I enjoyed learning lots of new things through the course I took. Even though some parts of the year were stressful, the end result was worth it and I am happy I am going to university.”

Through their hard work, commitment and focus, our Year 13s are able to pursue pathways which will allow them to face their future with confidence, courage and positivity and nearly 100% of the whole cohort  will be going on to higher education. We would like to wish all of our students the very best in their future endeavours and to thank their teachers for their skill and dedication.
