Breakfast Club

Parents and carers will know that, unlike the majority of schools, we have been providing free breakfasts to students for some years because Kingsley staff believe that this is an important meal in that it helps to set children up for a busy day of learning. Unfortunately, due to the failure to fund education properly, we have had to make cuts across the academy. Therefore, as of September 2018, children will be able to access breakfast from 8am but will only be entitled to one free dish - for example, toast OR cereal OR porridge. Second or further items will have to be paid for.

We are very sorry to be in this position, but we are proud to be one of few schools in the country determined to continue with this important benefit, albeit reduced.

We would also  like to remind parents and carers that the school does not open until 8am and, following advice from the Academies Enterprise Trust, the gates will not be open until this time when the reception is staffed. Please ask your child to arrive just before 8:00, rather than much earlier, so that we can be sure that they are being supervised in school.
