Could you write a summary of your favourite book in under ten words – minus the title?

Having trialled this competition with the staff at Kingsley Academy, the English department challenged students to do better! They did just that with these witty, creative and succinct responses.

Below are the top four submissions (and other notable entries). Can you guess what novels/ books they summarise? (answers at the bottom of the page).
