Faye Bird, author, invites Years 7 & 8 students to a writing workshop

Author Faye Bird writes fiction for young adults. Before becoming a writer, she worked as a literary agent, representing screenwriters in film and TV. She studied Philosophy and Literature at Warwick University.
Faye came to see selected More Able students from both Years 7 and Year 8 for a creative workshop to assist them with visualisation and the power of the imagination.

Faye commented, "I had an inspiring morning at Kingsley Academy with Years 7 and 8, sharing our love of reading and going on to create fantastic stories of our own. It was fun and the stories were Fab! Thank you for a wonderful visit."
