Jack Petchey awards announced

Congratulations to our Autumn term Jack Petchey winners all of whom have shown real commitment to our school community in one way or another.




September

Award winner: Tyler Clark, age 14

Reason for award: Always trying to improve himself, facing obstacles all the time and tries to find ways to overcome them.  He shows a determination of someone with not an easy life, but keeps going forward. He never moans!

October

Award winner: Dhondup Dorje, age 15

Reason for award: Dhondup has an unbelievable commitment to extra curricular activities. He attended all sports clubs run by the school and represented the school in the following sports:

  • Captain of Y10 Cricket team that won the borough league.
  • Captain of Y10 Volleyball team that won the borough tournament
  • Captain of Y10 Basketball team that won the borough league
  • Was an ever present member of the school football team
  • Represented the school at borough badminton championships
  • Finished fourth at the borough cross country championships thus qualifying for the Hounslow cross country team
  • Borough champion at Javelin
  • Subsequently this year he is lending his expertise to coaching the Y10 Basketball team.

November

Award winner: Gael Muyonge, age 14

Reason for award: Gael has demonstrated amazing development in his maturity since last summer. He is now one of the lead coaches for KS3 football sessions run after school. His commitment and professionalism and shown that he is now a true role model for his peers
