Newsletter July 2014

Enjoy this bumper edition of our newsletter.  So much has happened since last month’s edition that we could not resist sending another one before the end of term.
Amongst other news I know that you will be delighted to hear of our students winning the Amnesty International Youth Awards.

It is wonderful to see so many of our students recognised for their creativity and hard work in pursuit of such a good cause. Every student involved in the project has demonstrated admirable commitment and a real awareness of the world around them, and everyone at the Academy congratulates them on their achievements.
This, along with the work of our students and staff, is just one example of students of Kingsley Academy living our ethos and values encapsulated by our motto of ‘Achieving Excellence Together’.

I hope that you will enjoy reading of all the events and activities which have taken place including the various trips, International Evening, sports news, visit of Sky to work with our 6th Formers and of course you will want to congratulate our magnificent Jack Petchey Winners who ‘quietly’ get on with helping others.
We look forward to sharing news of our academic achievements for 2014.

Wishing you all a very happy and peaceful Summer break.
